Control dust at source with BIOnoDUST

An organic dust suppressant for quarries, mines, haul roads and working faces, developed to improve operational control.

What BIOnoDUST solves

Reduces dust at source and improves operational performance on surfaces exposed to traffic, wind and dry conditions.

BIOnoDUST is the solution for eliminating dust in quarries, construction sites and any operation where dust compromises safety and maintenance. Acting on the surface layer, this suppressant promotes cohesion of the fines and stabilises the surface, preventing particles from becoming airborne through wind or heavy traffic.

Problems it solves:

Less dust means more operational control.
With BIOnoDUST, you reduce surface mobilisation of fines and improve working conditions, traffic flow and environmental management on site.

FAQs

What is BIOnoDUST?

BIOnoDUST is a biodegradable dust suppressant for professional application on roads, access ways and operational areas subject to traffic and wind.

How does it work?

After application and drying, it promotes the surface cohesion of the fine fraction, reducing the mobilisation and resuspension of dust.

Where can it be applied?

It can be applied on: quarries; mines; worksites; service roads; internal roads; industrial areas with frequent traffic.

How is it applied?

It is prepared as an aqueous slurry and applied by uniform spraying, with suitable equipment such as a tanker truck or sprinkler system.

What is the recommended dosage?

The recommended concentration is 2.5% to 3.5% in water, with the application adjusted to the actual site conditions.

Is the product hazardous?

No. BIOnoDUST is not classified as a hazardous product under the normal conditions of use foreseen.

Is it biodegradable?

The product's development was based on operational performance and environmental criteria, valuing biodegradability in accordance with the technical and scientific evidence reported in the specialised literature.

Does it fully replace watering with water?

It depends on the context. In many cases, it substantially improves dust control compared with simple watering, but performance depends on factors such as traffic, humidity, grain size, wind and rainfall.

Does it work on any terrain?

Not equally. Performance depends on the surface characteristics, namely fines content, humidity, compaction, grain size and operating conditions.

Can it be applied on saturated surfaces?

It is not the ideal condition. On saturated, muddy surfaces or those with significant runoff, effectiveness may be reduced by wash-off and lack of surface stabilisation.

How often should it be reapplied?

It depends on traffic intensity, climate and the behaviour of the treated material. Field assessment is recommended and, when necessary, a trial on a pilot section.

How can I request a proposal?

Send us information about: type of site, area to treat, surface type, traffic and intended objective so we can technically frame the solution.
